Prof. Dr Najib Awad - Toward a Hermeneutic Tripod The Amsterdam Centre for Religion and Peace & Justice Studies periodically holds what we call expert-meetings with the students of the master’s specialization Peace, Trauma, and Religion. The last expert meeting was a joint event with the students of the master’s specialisation Building Interreligious Relations and the Research Institute for Culture, Cognition, History and Heritage. Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference and Festival In his presentation in one of the sessions at the Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference and Festival, Prof. Dr Fernando Enns speaks about Mennonites in the World Council of Churches in the light of Anabaptist peace building global church engagement. Or in other words: the global engagement of Anabaptist in the field of peace building.The purpose of the Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference and Festival in June 2016 was to explore traditions and contemporary expressions of Anabaptist/Mennonite peace beliefs and practices; to bring together academics and practitioners to learn from each other, to give expression to peacebuilding ideals through the arts, and to assess and re-envision Mennonite peacebuilding practise.
